Away from seaside screens and highlander stalls, in a small village located in the Beskid Niski, near the mountain  Magiel, at the very end of the convoluted (and unpaved) street… there is nothing… except our house, of course;)

Not just any house, we will not be modest – modern, with a bit of luxury, in a modern barn style. It is not an overrated highlander cottage or a log house. It is a combination of modernity, simplicity, comfort and aesthetics with peace and quiet and blissful nothingness around.

The cottage is located in Glinik Polski in Podkarpacie. It is a tiny village with a great history. During World War II, the front line ran here, and at the beginning of 1945 fierce battles between the Germans stationed near Nowy Glinik and the Russians attacking from the east took place here. Today, only 600 inhabitants live here, so we do not know what smog and traffic jams mean. Perhaps Podkarpacie is called by some the end of the world (or at least Poland), but how nice, clean, quiet and peaceful here!

The crowds have not arrived here yet, and you will not see a trampled trail or a littered beach here. There are no noisy tourist, artificial fur, firecrackers, vuvuzelas, balloons and other overrated attractions. The neighborhood is rather modest, but quiet, idyllic, natural – it just has its charm. The region is not oriented towards agritourism (which is its main advantage!), However, there are plenty of interesting, little-known and worth discovering places around. These are not attractions with fireworks, such as Giewont or the Pier in Sopot, but we guarantee a complete lack of queues and second-plan masters in your vacation photos:)

The Podkarpackie Voivodeship is a region of wild and rich nature – significantly different from other regions of Poland. It is located in a temperate climate zone with transitional features, at the junction of the maritime climate of north-western Europe and the eastern European continental climate. What does that mean? It means that it is a great place to relax both in winter and summer – it is cold in winter, hot in the summer. Outside, of course. On hot days, you can escape from the sun, cool down in the shade of trees or the nearby Wisłoka River, and in winter you can warm your hands (and not only) by the fireplace. For the lazy, we have electric underfloor heating;)
